Please note that there'll be a performance for most gymnasts*.  Performance for Prize Giving ceremony. Date: 17 Nov 2017. Time: to be confirmed, should be 2 sessions. Venue: School Hall
*New members may not be able to join this time as they are not ready with the basic gymnastics skills. The coaches will individually inform these pupils.
For pupils who are unable to join in the performance, please alert me via email
tam-wong_ting_ting@nyps.edu.sg  by Week 1, 15 Sept. We need to determine the number of gymnasts and choreograph for the performance.

Please note that training hours on 25 Aug Friday is only from 2pm to 4pm. Parents, please make arrangement for your child to go home at 4pm. Thank you.
And a reminder that there's training on the Monday & Tuesday of Sept holidays. Time:9am -12nn

Sept holidays training

There'll be training on 4 Sept (Monday) and 5 Sept (Tuesday) during the holidays for all gymnasts. Time: 9am to 12 noon. Venue: school gymnasium
Please attend both training sessions.

9th ASEAN Schools Games (ASG)

As part of the 9^th ASEAN Schools Games (ASG) that Ministry of Education, Singapore is hosting this coming week from 13 to 21 July 2017. If you are free, please join in to spectate the Artistic Gymnastics (MAG & WAG) and Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) competitions held at Bishan Sports Hall (5 Bishan Street 14, S579783).  Admission is free.

There will be students gymnasts from 7 countries competing for Artistic Gymnastics (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam), and 5 countries competing in Rhythmic Gymnastics (Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand).  Come join in to experience a regional student gymnastics event!

Boys' training resumes next week

Dear Parents and gymnasts,

Please take note that Boys' training will resume next week from 3rd July Monday onwards.

Trainings will be held at NYPS Gym from 2-5pm.

interested to perform for NY Gala Dinner?

Dear parents, boys and girls,
Gym needs 2 boys and 2 girls to perform in a combined performance with NYGH for our Centennial Gala Dinner on 29 July.
The dates for rehearsal are Fridays 4.30-6pm (14, 21, 28 July), Wed 4-6pm (26 July), Thur 4-6pm (27 July) and Saturdays (8, 15, 22 July) 11am-1pm.
It's a one in a lifetime chance to be part of the this celebration!!

Term 3 Gymnastics Schedule

Dear gymnasts and parents,

In view of the renovation works happening in our gymnasium, there will be some changes.

1. ONLY the girls will be training at NYGH for the first 2 weeks.
2. Dismissal will be 5pm at NYGH for the girls.
3. BOYS' TRAINING will resume on the 10th July, SUBJECT to the handover of the gymnasium. Please stay tuned for any further changes.
