Term 3 trainings - wrong days posted

Gym Celebration
Thank you Celine for your warm hospitality this afternoon. The children had a great time enjoying the sumptious BBQ food, playing with your dogs, playing X-box on the huge screen and swimming. It's the first time that the boys and girls teams interact together as a whole since the beginning of this year due to the different training venues.

Term 3 schedule
The school’s calendar for Term 3 has not been finalized. There will be three training sessions weekly and gymnasts should attend twice a week. The schedule will be posted on the NYPS gym blog once the dates are confirmed.
Boys’ training days will be on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Girls’ will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Transport arrangement will be the same as Term 2.

Post competition celebration for all School Team Members

U Invitation  Š รค

Every year, after a year of hard work training for the SPSSC competition, our school has been organising a get-together and celebration. This year, Megan May's mother, Celine, has generously offered her house for our gymnasts to have a BBQ session and have fun there. Parents are invited too. Gymnasts can choose to play in the swimming pool too but only if they are water savvy and subject to parent's approval. Below is the information:

Date: 31 May (Fri)
Time: 2pm - 5pm
Address: 8 Holland Heights Singapore 249508

Transport is available to send everyone there and the bus will leave NYPS at 2pm. Please arrange for own transport home.
Gymnasts can contribute other food items while Celine will provide food for BBQ. Please let Mrs Tam know the type of food that you'll bring over.

Hope to see everyone there!

Trainings for boys need to be cancelled as I was just informed that BazGym is closed from 9-14 June for their overseas trip. Our teachers are taking their break after 14 June, so there'll not be teacher in charge available. We will try to close up these gaps in the future to prevent lapse of training for such a long period.

Boys’ training days will be on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Girls’ will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Transport arrangement will be the same as Term 2.

We will be putting up a performance during for our school’s anniversary celebration on 18 August and taking part in Gym Fest in December. Therefore, part of the training sessions in Semester 2 will be used for practice sessions for these performances.

Payment for boy's competition leotard

Boys who bought new leotards for competition this year, please submit $28 to Mrs Tam. From this year onwards, the school is able to co-sponsor the cost of leotard.
Please put the exact amount into an envelope and write the boy's name and class.  Seal the envelope, attention it to Mrs Tam and put it on my desk at cubicle 23.
As for the girls, Megan's mother is busy and will get back to us on the cost of the leotard.

1) Please remember to wear the red gymnastics T-shirt for prize giving presentation.
2) Meet Mrs Tan, Mrs Tam and Mdm Chew at the front of the hall by 7.10am. Sit neatly in rows according to your teams. 'C' Division Novice boys must be present too. Although you're not receiving medals, I'll be acknowledging your hardwork.
3) If you have not given the medals to me, please label and bring them on Monday.
4) There's a photo-taking session after that. Don't go back to join your class immediately after prize presentation.
