Training during the June holidays

Please note that the teacher in-charge will still meet gymnasts at the tables in front of the drink stall in the canteen before leading all to the gymnasium at 9am.  Please refer to the previous post on the schedule. Thank you.

results for National Championships 13-15 March

For gymnasts who had taken part in the National Championships in 13-15 March, if you took part, registered under NYPS and have attained any awards, please give me the results so that I can key in to the results system. Please give me ASAP.

Welcome back for training!

Dear parents,
We are starting our gym training on 18 May. Venue is our new NYPS gymnasium!
Please meet at the tables near the drink stall in the canteen slightly before 2pm. The teacher in-charge and coaches will lead gymnasts to the gymnasium at 2pm. Gymnasts are not supposed to walk over by themselves. 
After training at 5pm, the teacher in-charge will take the gymnasts to the Meeting Point. If gymnasts take the 4pm school bus home, the teacher will be taking them to the Meeting Point at 3.45pm.  
From this term onwards, we are having a group of P1 boys, who had gone through the first round of selection, to join us in training. Our gymnasium will also be utilised by the NYGH girls and some members from the Singapore Gymnastics when NYPS is not using it for training.

There's some changes in the training dates for boys as BazGym is having their term break in week 4 of June. Thus, there is no training for boys from 22 June to 26 June. Apologies for the oversight previously.

1 June Vesak Day: training cancelled.

Please note that 1June is a public holiday, Vesak Day. Thus training will be cancelled. It will resume on 2 June. Thank you.

prize giving in school on Monday morning assembly (20/4)

All gymnasts who took part in the National Inter-Pri schools competition are to meet Mrs Tam on Monday morning (20 Apr) at 7.10am at the basketball court. If it rains, meet at the hall. Attire: the usual school uniform. Gymnasts who have yet to pass me your medals, please do bring them on Monday.
Although we are giving out medals and trophy only to the prize winners, it's a good opportunity to show our competitors to the school as many school mates may not know that you're a gymnast. So, I'll like to present all competitors to the school.

Reminder that training will be suspended from next week and we shall meet again on 18 May. From 18 May, we will be training in our new NYPS gymnasium. No more travelling out of our school!  

Fri Gym prize giving ceremony

Dear parents,

1. Clarification: All gymnasts have to attend the prize-giving ceremony on Friday. They have to wear gym leotards to the ceremony. If they need a top, they are to wear PE T-shirt. They do not wear the red gym T-shirt given few years ago as not all gymnasts this year have that.
